I have been the director of golf at Memorial Park for 18 years.  I am engaged to a beautiful lady that I can't wait to marry!  This is my 32nd year working in golf since starting in the bag room at Sweetwater Country Club in 1985 working under Hank Haney. From there I worked a few years at Inwood Forest Country Club as an assistant professional under Mike Baker.  In 1997 and 1998 I worked for Gary Rippy at the TPC at The Woodlands as an assistant professional.  One of the biggest highlights at the TPC was working the Shell Houston Open.  What a great experience that was!  In 1998, I came to Memorial Park Golf Course where I’ve been ever since.  Memorial Park is a great golf course and a wonderful place to work.  I’ve had the opportunity to meet so many wonderful people---from Presidents and famous athletes to wonderful people who live in this great city to golfers from all over the world! Being the director of golf at Memorial Park is both exciting and demanding.  I have many responsibilities that include:  running anything from City Amateur tournaments or corporate outings, working on IT issues, repairing equipment for the golf course, teaching, maintaining the building and managing a terrific staff.  Memorial Park is one of the busiest courses in the country which makes my work both challenging and fun!  I am a hard worker and enjoy all aspects of my job.  I look forward to coming to work every day and God willing, am looking forward to many more!
